A Framework for Synchronized Editing of Multiple Curve Representations
نویسندگان
چکیده
Editing curves and surfaces is difficult in part because their mathematical representations rarely correspond to most people’s idea of a curve or surface. The implementation (and hence, behavior) of most manipulation tools is intertwined with a particular curve or surface representation; this can make reimplementing the tool with a different representation problematic. A system using a single representation must therefore either limit the types of tools available or convert existing tools to work on the system’s representation. In this paper we present a framework for editing curves or surfaces which supports multiple representations and ensures that they stay synchronized. As a proof of concept, we have created a curve editor which contains several tools each of which manipulate one of three different curve representations: polylines, NURBs, and multiresolution B-splines. Deformation of Outer Representations of Galois Group
To a hyperbolic smooth curve defined over a number-field one naturally associates an "anabelian" representation of the absolute Galois group of the base field landing in outer automorphism group of the algebraic fundamental group. In this paper, we introduce several deformation problems for Lie-algebra versions of the above representation and show that, this way we get a richer structure than t...
متن کاملDeformation of Outer Representations of Galois Group II
This paper is devoted to deformation theory of "anabelian" representations of the absolute Galois group landing in outer automorphism group of the algebraic fundamental group of a hyperbolic smooth curve defined over a number-field. In the first part of this paper, we obtained several universal deformations for Lie-algebra versions of the above representation using the Schlessinger criteria for...
متن کاملInteractive and Anisotropic Geometry Processingsing the Screened Poisson Equation
We present a general framework for performing geometry filtering through the solution of a screened Poisson equation. We show that this framework can be efficiently adapted to a changing Riemannian metric to support curvature-aware filtering and describe a parallel and streaming multigrid implementation for solving the system. We demonstrate the practicality of our approach by developing an int...
متن کاملEstimation of Seigniorage Laffer curve in IRAN: A Fuzzy C-Means Clustering Framework
There are two sources for governments to raise their revenues. The first is the direct taxation levied on output, and the second is seigniorage. Seigniorage is also known as printing new money and is defined as the value of real resources acquired by the government through its power of sovereignty on its monopoly of printing money. The purpose of this paper is to examine the Laffer curve for Se...
متن کاملThe miR-223: An Inflammatory MicroRNA Involved in Pathogenesis of Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is the most common autoimmune inflammatory demyelinating disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. Dysregulation or mutation of miRNA genes have been linked to the pathogenesis of MS. The miRNAs are short, 20-22 nucleotide long, single-stranded regulatory and non-protein coding RNAs that modulate the expression of multiple target genes. Among miRNAs, miR-223 has be...
